This utility upgrades the SonicStage® Mastering Studio to version 1.4.04 and closes a potential security vulnerability.

Important Notes

- This utility will uninstall the previous version of SonicStage® Mastering Studio before proceeding with the update.
- During the installation of this file, be sure that you are logged in as the Administrator or as a user with Administrative rights.
- To ensure that no other program interferes with the installation, save all work and close all other programs. The Taskbar should be clear of applications before proceeding.
- It is highly recommended to print out these instructions as a reference during the installation process.

Download and Installation Instructions

- To ensure that no other program interferes with the installation, save all work and close all other programs. The Taskbar should be clear of applications before proceeding.
- Download the SOASMS-01200700-US.EXE file to a temporary or download directory (please note this directory for reference).
- Go to the directory where the file was downloaded and double-click the SOASMS-01200700-US.EXE file to begin the installation.
- At the "Welcome to SonicStage Mastering Studio Upgrade" screen, click "Next".
- At the "License Agreement" dialog, read the agreement, then, if you agree, click "I Agree" to continue with the installation.
- At the "SonicStage Mastering Studio Upgrade Program 1.4" dialog, click "OK".
- At the "SonicStage Mastering Studio Upgrade Program 1.4" screen, click "Next".
- At the "Confirm Uninstall" screen, click "OK".
NOTE: Once un-installation is complete, click "Finish" to complete this step.
- At the "Installshield Wizard" screen, click "Next".
- At the "Installshield Wizard Complete" screen, click "Finish".
- At the "SonicStage Mastering Studio" screen, click "Next".
NOTE: Once the upgrade version is installed, click "Finish".
- At the "Complete" screen, click "Finish".
The installation of the SonicStage® Mastering Studio Update is complete.
