LocationFree® Player for PC Software LFA-PC20 Upgrade

• It is highly recommended to print out these instructions as a reference during the installation process.
• The LFA-PC20 LocationFree Player for PC software must already be installed on your computer in order to install this upgrade.
• The file is large, 5.26MB. The estimated time for download is 3-4 minutes at 200kbps, 5-6 minutes at 128kbps, 12-13 minutes at 56kbps.
• During the download process, never power off or restart the computer unless directed to do so.
• This file is only supported under Microsoft® Windows® XP and Windows Vista™ operating systems.
• It is strongly recommended that you install this LFA-PC20 LocationFree Players software upgrade before you upgrade your computer to Microsoft® Windows Vista™ operating system.
• If a trial version of the LFA-PC20 LocationFree® player software has been installed on your computer, it will be necessary reregister the computer with the Base Station after upgrading the computer from Windows XP operating system to Windows Vista operating system.

1. To ensure that no other program interferes with the installation, save all work and close all other programs. The Taskbar should be clear of applications before proceeding.
2. Make sure your computer is connected to the Internet.
3. Click the Download link above (or below) to begin the download process.
4. Read the Software Upgrade License Agreement and, if you agree, click Accept.
   NOTE: Please wait while the file downloads to your computer.
5. Download the LFA-PC20.EXE file to a temporary or download directory (please note this directory for reference).
6. Go to the directory where the file was downloaded and double-click the LFA-PC20.EXE file to begin the installation Wizard.
7. Follow the on-screen prompts carefully.
8. When the installation process is complete, you will be prompted to restart the computer.

After the computer restarts, the upgrade process is finished.

1. Start the LocationFree for PC software.
2. Check the version number. Confirm that the version listed is 3.1.3.28. If it is, then the upgrade is successful.
   NOTE: If the version number is not 3.1.3.28, then the software did not upgrade properly. Please download and install the LocationFree for PC software upgrade again.
