What Does This Do?

This utility installs the originally shipped version of the following Intel Centrino WiMAX 6150 components:

  • Intel Centrino WiMAX 6150 Driver version 6.2.1202.26
  • Intel Centrino WiMAX 6150 Function Driver version 6.2.1202.26
  • Intel PROSet/Wireless WiMAX Connection Utility version 6.2.4077.42140

This driver also resolves the yellow exclamation point error Device Manager Exclaimation Point Error that may appear in Device Manager next to "Intel Centrino Wireless-N + WiMAX 6150" which indicates that a driver is not installed for that device.

Download and Installation Instructions
  1. To ensure that no other program interferes with the installation, save all work and close all other programs. The Taskbar should be clear of applications before proceeding.
  2. Download the INDOTH-00247321-0042.EXE file to a temporary or download directory (please note this directory for reference).
  3. Go to the directory where the file was downloaded and double-click the INDOTH-00247321-0042.EXE file to begin the installation.
  4. At the "User Account Control" screen, click "Yes".
  5. If the "Select Language" screen appears, select the language you wish to use, and then click "OK".
  6. At the "Select Country" screen, select the country for this installation, and then click "Next".
  7. At the "Intel® Centrino® WiMAX 6150 Ver. 6.2.1202.26" screen, click "Next".
  8. At the "License Agreement" dialog, read the agreement, then, if you agree, click "I Agree" to continue with the installation.
  9. At the "Finish" screen, click "Finish".
  10. At the "This system must be restarted to complete the installation" screen, click "OK" to restart the computer.

After the computer restarts, the installation of the Intel Centrino WiMAX 6150 Software is complete.
