Mobile Intel® 965 Express Chipset Driver Update

What Does This Do?

This utility updates the Mobile Intel® 965 Express Chipset Driver to version 7.14.10.1447 to resolve an issue where the hibernation function may not work, or where the screen may go black after returning from hibernation. These issues may occur after installing Microsoft® Windows Vista® Service Pack 1 (SP1).

Download and Installation Instructions
  1. To ensure that no other program interferes with the installation, save all work and close all other programs. The Taskbar should be clear of applications before proceeding.
  2. Download the INDVID-14718500-US.EXE file to a temporary or download directory (please note this directory for reference).
  3. Go to the directory where the file was downloaded and double-click the INDVID-14718500-US.EXE file to begin the installation.
  4. At the "Mobile Intel(R) 965 Express Chipset Family" screen, click "Next".
  5. At the "License Agreement" dialog, read the agreement, then, if you agree, click "I Agree" to continue with the installation.
  6. At the "Intel Video Driver Install Page" screen, click "Next".
  7. At the "Finish" screen, click "Finish".
  8. Click "OK" to restart the computer.

After the computer restarts, the installation of the Mobile Intel® 965 Express Chipset Driver Update is complete.
