x-Pict Story™ for Memory Card Software

What Does This Do?

The x-Pict Story for Memory Card software creates distinctive photo presentations with unique layouts synced to effects and music. Your photos and music will be arranged into a moving photo album.

IMPORTANT: This file is only for use with the models identified. Not all models are sold in all countries.

System Requirements
  • Operating System (manufacturer installed): Microsoft® Windows® 8, Windows 8 Pro, Windows 7 Ultimate, Windows 7 Enterprise, Windows 7 Professional, Windows 7 Home Premium, Windows 7 Home Basic, Windows 7 Starter, Windows Vista® Ultimate, Windows Vista Business, Windows Vista Home Premium, Windows Vista Home Basic, XP Professional, or Windows XP Home Edition.
  • Computer: IBM PC/AT or compatible
  • CPU: Intel® Pentium® 4 2.8 GHz or higher, Pentium D 2.8 GHz or higher, Intel Core™ Duo 1.66 GHz or higher, or Intel Core 2 Duo 1.20 GHz or higher.
  • Memory (RAM): 1 GB or more
  • Display: High Color (16-bit) or higher, 1024 x 600 pixels or better
  • Graphics: DirectX 9 or later
  • The following systems are not supported:
    • Operating Systems other than those indicated above
    • Personally constructed PCs or operating systems
    • An environment that is an upgrade of the original manufacturer-installed operating system
    • Multi-boot environment
    • Multi-monitor environment
    • Macintosh® Operating System
Important Notes
  • The software download process requires authentication of the serial number and lot number listed on your Memory Card media. Please have your Memory Card media available.
  • During the installation of this file, be sure that you are logged in as the Administrator or as a user with Administrative rights.
  • To ensure that no other program interferes with the installation, save all work and close all other programs. The Taskbar should be clear of applications before proceeding.
  • It is highly recommended that you print out these instructions for use as a reference during the installation process.
Download and Installation Instructions

The software download process requires authentication of the serial number and lot number listed on your Memory Card media. Please have your Memory Card media available.

  1. To ensure that no other program interferes with the installation, save all work and close all other programs. The Taskbar should be clear of applications before proceeding.
  2. Click the Download Now icon
  3. .
  4. Review the End User License Agreement. If you agree, click the checkmark icon to continue.
  5. At the x-Pict Story for Memory Card Software Download page, fill in the fields for the Model Name and Serial Number.
    Note: The Model Name section has two fields separated by a hyphen.
  6. Please complete the optional Questionnaire, and then click the "Next" button at the bottom of the page.
  7. At the verification page, verify that the information is correct and then click the "OK" button to continue.
  8. Click the "Download" button.
  9. In the "File Download" window click the Save button to download the xPSMC_setup.exe file to a temporary or download directory (please note this directory for reference).
  10. Go to the directory where the file was downloaded and double-click the xPSMC_setup.exe file to begin the installation.
  11. At the language selection box, click to select your language and then click "OK".
  12. At the "Welcome to the InstallShield Wizard" screen, click the "Next" button to continue.
  13. At the message prompting you to install DirectX 9, click "OK".
  14. At the Microsoft DirectX "License Agreement" dialog, read the agreement, then, if you agree, click the Yes button to continue with the installation.
  15. At the "Ready to Install the Program" screen, click "Install".
  16. At the "InstallShield Wizard Complete" screen, click the "Finish" button.

The installation of the x-Pict Story™ for Memory Card software is complete.
