Sony Digital Photo Printer Updated Driver for Microsoft® Windows® XP Service Pack 2

This utility installs an updated driver and resolves the issue where image colors print out incorrectly after installing Microsoft® Windows® XP Service Pack 2 on the computer.

IMPORTANT: This file is only for use with the models identified. Not all models are sold in all countries.

Important Notes

To ensure that no other program interferes with the installation, save all work and close all other programs. The Taskbar should be clear of applications before proceeding. Make sure the printer is connect to the computer via a commercially available USB cable (not supplied). During the installation of this update, be sure that you are logged in as the Administrator or as a user with Administrative rights. It is highly recommended to print out these instructions as a reference during the installation process.

Download and Installation Instructions

Download the SV55_77_88_XP1002.EXE file to a temporary or download directory (please note this directory for reference). Make sure the printer is connect to the computer via a commercially available USB cable (not supplied). Turn on the printer. Please wait until the "USB Print Support" message appears and then disappears. Go to the directory where the file was downloaded and double-click the SV55_77_88_XP1002.EXE file. Please follow the on-screen prompts carefully to complete the installation. NOTE: If a "Hardware Installation" warning message appears, click Continue Anyway to continue the driver installation.
