Sony® VGP-UPR1 Graphics Driver Update

What Does This Do?

This utility updates Sony VGP-UPR1 Graphics Driver to version 4.5.13507.0 to add support for additional computer models and resolves the following issues:

  • Connecting the VGP-UPR1 to a computer may cause the display to automatically change to the Windows Classic theme
  • InterVideo WinDVD? software is not supported using the USB docking station

Important Notes

  • To ensure that no other program interferes with the installation, save all work and close all other programs. The Taskbar should be clear of applications before proceeding.
  • It is highly recommended to print out these instructions as a reference during the installation process.
Download and Installation Instructions
  1. To ensure that no other program interferes with the installation, save all work and close all other programs. The Taskbar should be clear of applications before proceeding.
  2. Download the SODOTH-16445300-US.EXE file to a temporary or download directory (please note this directory for reference).
  3. Go to the directory where the file was downloaded and double-click the SODOTH-16445300-US.EXE file to begin the installation.
  4. At "Sony VGP-UPR1 Graphics Driver" screen, click "Next".
  5. At the "License Agreement" dialog, read the agreement, then, if you agree, click "I Agree" to continue with the installation.
  6. Wait until the installation progress is finished and then at the "Finished" screen, click "Finish".
  7. Click "OK" to restart the computer to complete the installation process.

After the computer restarts, the installation of the Sony® VGP-UPR1 Graphics Driver Update is complete.
