Sony® RAW Driver

The Sony® RAW Driver for Microsoft® Windows Vista® operating system allows RAW data (ARW/SR2/SRF files) to be displayed in Windows Explorer or Windows Photo Gallery in the same way as JPEG files.
Note: This driver was updated on November 14, 2008 to add support for 64-bit editions of Windows Vista operating system.

IMPORTANT: This file is only for use with the models identified. Not all models are sold in all countries.

Important Notes

Starter editions of the operating system are not supported. During the installation of this file, be sure that you are logged in as the Administrator or as a user with Administrative rights. To ensure that no other program interferes with the installation, save all work and close all other programs. The Taskbar should be clear of applications before proceeding. It is highly recommended that you print out these instructions for use as a reference during the installation process.

Download and Installation Instructions

To ensure that no other program interferes with the installation, save all work and close all other programs. The Taskbar should be clear of applications before proceeding. Click the "Download Now" link at the top or bottom of this page. At the "Software Agreement" page, read the agreement, then, if you agree, click the "Accept Agreement" checkmark to continue with the download. Save the SRD20_Installer0810a.exe file to a temporary or download directory (please note this directory for reference). Go to the directory where the file was downloaded and double-click the SRD20_Installer0810a.exe file to begin the installation. Please follow the on-screen prompts carefully to complete the installation. Note: It the message "This program might not have installed correctly" appears, click "This program installed correctly".
